We embrace the challenge of the future by helping implement new technologies and programs that go beyond the library's day-to-day activities—programs that may not currently be supported by State or community funds. The Friends have been instrumental in initiating services that our visitors now take for granted—Internet access from the library, a circulating collection of DVDs, CDs, and Mp3s, and digitization project with online access via our Web site of the Farmington Observer among them.
